Sung Baldwin
Sung Cha Baldwin, 85, of Hilo, died Oct. 26, 2020, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Korea, she was a retired seamstress, cosmetologist, and sold her handcrafted muumuus and dresses at the Hilo Farmer’s Market for over 20 years.
Private services held. Family asks donations be made to the Alzheimers Association in her memory.
She is survived by son, H. Tim (Hilda) Baldwin of Hilo; sister, Hyok Ja Akiyama of Pearl City, Oahu; brothers, Hyuk Song Kwon and Hyuk Yong Kwon of Los Angeles, and Hyuk Nam Kwon of Waipahu, Oahu; and four granddaughters.

Cayetano Julian
Cayetano Lucas Julian, 89, of Pahoa, died Oct. 23, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 8, 1931, in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines; he was a sugarcane cutter for the former Puna Sugar Co. and he also was a member of the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Nov. 20 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. services. Friends may also call at 10 a.m. Nov. 21 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Mass. Graveside Service at the Pahoa Catholic Church Cemetery at 11:30 a.m.
He is survived by daughters, Anita (Cresencio) Rambayon of Hilo, Florencia (Rodolfo) Labuguen of Maui and Blesida Julian of Pahoa; sons, Jerry (Leonora) Julian of Pahoa and Vincent (Rosalyn) Julian of Maui; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Placida Felipe of Oahu and Veronica (Date) Pagala of Keaau; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Larry Hull
Larry V. Hull, 83, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 5, 2020, at Hospice/Hale Nakamura in Holualoa. Born March 15, 1937, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, teacher in the Palo Alto Unified School District, an instructor and advisor in the School of Education at Stanford University, broker-in-charge at Clark Realty’s Kona office from 1996 to 2016, and

Noelle Keala Tamiko Buffett, 39, of Hilo, died Oct. 31, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Ralph Dalbey Jr.
Ralph “Commander Jack” Jackson Dalbey Jr., 88, of Honaunau, died Nov. 1, 2020, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Dec. 25, 1931, in Rochester, New York, he was a retired stockbroking manager for Shearson Lehman Brothers, coffee farmer, owner of Viewpoint Kennels, retired president of District Exchange clubs of California, Hawaii and Nevada; and a retired U.S. Navy commander and pilot.

Shigeko Freyser, 89, of Hilo, died Oct. 27, 2020, at her residence. Born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, she was a homemaker and member of Soka Gakkai International Hilo.

Marvel Hiilei Bento, 77, of Hilo, died Nov. 8, 2020, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired teacher and counselor at Waiakea Elementary School, former president of Hawaii Island Retired Teachers Association, and a member of the HSTA.

She is survived by spouse, Arlen Bento Sr. of Hilo; sons, Arlen (Julie) Bento Jr. of Jensen Beach, Florida, and Martin (Shannon) Bento of Hilo; daughter, Cela Bento of Hilo; sisters, Irene (Jonathan) Chai and Muriel (Ken) Nishimoto, all of Hilo; five grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Helen May Beasley, 71, of Mountain View, died Oct. 25, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. She was born Jan. 7, 1949, at Ft. Benning, Georgia.

Elizabeth Hauanio
Elizabeth H. Hauanio, 79, of Hilo, died Nov. 9, 2020, at Hawaii Care Choices. Born Feb. 2, 1941, in Hilo, she was a retired surgical nurse at the Hilo Medical Center and a member of the Haili Congregational Church in Hilo.

Veronica Marie Relles, 65, of Hilo, died July 26, 2020, at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Hospice Facility. Born in Kapaau, she was an assistant manager for Goodwill Industries of Hawaii.

Cisto Hondonero Jr., 66, of Hilo, died Oct. 23, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Aug. 21, 1954, in Pahala, he worked for various restaurants and was a U.S. Army veteran.
