Timothy Chee
Timothy Carl Nakea Leialoha Ling Chee, 32, of Hilo, died April 15, 2020, at his residence. Born in Hilo, he earned his bacherlor’s degree in cultural anthropology at Ashford University.

He is survived by fiancee, Roxanne Ramones of Hilo; mother and step-father, Sylvia and Ben Baah of Hilo; father, Ronney Jenks of Washington; step-father, John McCollum of Hilo; sisters, Chandra Chee and Charlyn (Josh Yonemura) Chee, all of Hilo; brother, Cullen Chee of Hilo; hanai brother, Wade (Dulce) Torres of Keaau; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Hannah Soule
Hannah Baird Hackett Soule, 69, of Kailua-Kona, died Oct. 14, 2020, at her residence. Born in Boston, she was a retired sales representative for Partners Technology in Massachusetts, and a member of Makoa Wahine of Kona and Kona Business and Professional Women.
Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amyloidosis Research Foundation at amyloidosis.org.
She is survived by husband, Augustus Soule, of Kailua-Kona; siblings, George Hackett Jr., of New York, and Edith (Brad) Keeler, Edward (Jane) Hackett, all of Massachusetts; stepchildren; step-grandchildren; nieces and nephews

Santiago Tadeo
Santiago Jose Tadeo, 98, of Keaau, died Oct. 15, 2020, at his residence. Born June 15, 1922, in Piddig, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a papaya farmer.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Oct. 24 at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park (Ilima Section).
He is survived by sons, Narciso (Rosita) Tadeo, of Keaau, Julito (Melody) Tadeo, of Naalehu, Emilio (Delicia) Tadeo and Apostol (Helen) Tadeo, all of Pahoa, and Celso (Maria) Tadeo, of Hilo; daughters, Resurreccion (Tony) Antonio and Anita (Eduardo) Antonio, all of Pahoa, Delia (Aurelio) Ambida, of Las Vegas, and Carmen (Jason) Kaholoaa, of Keaau; 27 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

William McEuen
William Eugene McEuen, 79, of Kailua-Kona, died Sept. 24, 2020, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Jan. 4, 1941, in Oakland, California, he was a record and film producer.
No services will be held at this time.
He is survived by wife, Alice McEuen, of Kailua-Kona; and brother, Walter McEuen.

Sakae Kaya
Sakae Kaya, 72, of Hilo, died Sept. 28, 2020, in a private care home in Hilo. Born Jan. 9, 1948, in Fukuoka, Japan, she was a retired food preparation assistant for KTA Super Stores in Hilo, member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Kyodan Council and Buddhist Women’s Association, Hawaii Shima Fukuoka Kenjinkai and Urasenke Hawaii Chapter.
Private services held. The family requests no flowers or koden (monetary offerings).
She is survived by husband, Raymond Kaya, of Hilo; daughters, Nancy (Jeff) Miyasato of Kaneohe, Oahu, Kathy (Loren) Tsugawa of Hilo and Joanne (Evan) Okino and Cindy (John) Wong, all of Honolulu; brother, Hirokazu (Hiroko) Ishigo, of Fukuoka, Japan; sister, Tsugiko (Shuji) Otsubo, of Fukuoka, Japan; eight grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Seichi Yabushita
Seichi Yabushita, 89, of Papaikou, died Oct. 2, 2020, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born June 2, 1931, in Papaikou, he worked at The Salvation Army in Honolulu and was part of their brass band, taught Bible classes, worked in their restaurant the Waioli Tea Room and was a mentor with the Youth Crusade ministry and member of The Salvation Army Hilo Temple Corps.
Scattering of ashes will take place at a later date.
He is survived by sister, Helen Saito, of Honolulu.
