Melvin Ah Lo
Melvin K. Ah Lo, 75, of Hilo, died Aug. 11, 2020 at his residence. Born Nov. 13, 1944, in Hilo, he was a retired Hawaiian Airlines cargo agent and U.S. Army veteran.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Sept. 13 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 6 p.m. service. At 9 a.m. Sept. 14 at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Military Honors will be held by the Hawaii Army National Guard. Private burial to follow at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by companion, Joyce Madamba of Hilo; children, Melvin (Kanoe) Ah Lo of Waimea, Melissa (Jeremy) Ujano and Nadine Camacho of Hilo, Alissa Iida of Las Vegas; siblings, Kenneth Ah Lo, Ethel Ah Lo and Pat Ah Lo of Hilo; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Felix Padamada Jr.
Felix Achuela Padamada Jr., 58, of Keaau, died July 17, 2020 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 11, 1961 in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a papaya farmer, an employee for Ganir & Company Pacific Rim Commercial Services, member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Keaau and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and a former member of Pearl of the Orient Association of Hawaii, Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, Big Island Chapter, and Hawaii County Filipino Community Council.
Friends may call at 5 p.m. Sept. 10 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Friends may also call at 8 a.m. Sept. 11 at mortuary with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua Section. The family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Teresita Villa Padamada of Keaau; daughters, Ruby (Joshua) Behnke of Texas, Michelle (Blake) Petersen of Keaau and Sharon Padamada of Texas; sons, Jett (Madycyn) Padamada and Felix Padamada III of Keaau; brothers, Orlino (Nerie) Padamada, Gilbert (Vilma) Padamada and Tito (Medy) Padamada of Keaau; sisters, Perla Gouveia and Nora (Jose) Galarse of Keaau; hanai brother, Larry (Grace) Domingo of Keaau; hanai sister, Loida (Billy) Medeiros of Hilo; three grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Soledad Lorenzo
Soledad Domingo Lorenzo, 68, of Holualoa, died Aug. 16, 2020 at Straub Medical Center on Oahu. Born Aug. 14, 1952, in Laoag City, Philippines, she was a housekeeper at King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel and Kanaloa resorts and a member of the Ilocano Ancestry Club and St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

She is survived by husband, Cirilo Lorenzo of Holualoa; daughters, Rosita Lorenzo of Kailua-Kona, Caroline (Jake Lerback) Lorenzo and Ailyn (Isaac) Cagampang of Holualoa, and Jocelyn (Charlie) Lorenzo of Honolulu; sister, Marcilia (Ernesto) Lorenzo of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dane Kajiyama
Dane “DK” Kawika Kajiyama, 36, of Pahoa died Aug. 24, 2020. He was a fisherman and member of the NSPYR softball team and Pu’uhonua hub crew.

He is survived by father, Daryl Kajiyama and mother, Pearllani Kajiyama of Pahoa, sisters Tammy (Inoke) Taufa of California and LeAnn Kajiyama (Keary Shaw) of Keaau, god sister Keala (Jason) Rowland of Pahoa; numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Leroy Victorine
Leroy John Victorine, 82, of Hilo, died Aug. 14, 2020 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 6, 1937 in Hilo, he was a retired assistant chief of police for the Hawaii County Police Department, a former DJ for KIPA; U.S. Air Force veteran, director of airport security for the former Wackenhut; director of TSA at Hilo Airport; and director of Harbor Security in Hilo, he also served terms and chaired the County of Hawaii Board of Ethics and the Police Commission.

He is survived by daughters, Uilani (Chad) Canda of Hilo and Tammy Momilani (Joseph) Kealoha of Waimea; sons, Clifford (Michelle) Victorine III of Hilo and Mike (Becki-Lin) Victorine of Pukalani, Maui; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Elizabeth “Gigi” Leialoha Toribio, 83, of Hilo, died Aug. 26, 2020 at her residence. Born Oct. 2, 1936, in Wailuku, Maui, she was a tour escort for a travel agency and a member of the Berean Bible Church in Hilo.
