Hawaii Island police are investigating a reported robbery that occurred Saturday in North Kohala and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the responsible parties.
Hawaii Island police are investigating a reported robbery that occurred Saturday in North Kohala and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the responsible parties.
At approximately 6:20 a.m., North Kohala patrol officers responded to a business on Kaauhuhu Road after an employee of the business reported that he was assaulted by two male suspects while preparing to open for business, according to the Hawaii Police Department. The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of money and other personal items from the office before feeling the building. They were last seen fleeing into the nearby brush.
The suspects are described are both between 5 feet, 8 inches and 5 feet, 10 inches tall, according to police. One was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweater and the other may have been wearing a camouflage jacket.
