Rosaline Tagaca
Rosaline Jane “Linda” (Badua) Tagaca, 77, of Kapaau, died April 1, 2020, at Infinity Hospice Care in Las Vegas. Born June 1,1944 in North Kohala, she was a retired hotel assistant manager for Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and a member of Sacred Hearts Church in Hawi.
Services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by daughters, Jerriline (Tim Caravalho) Tagaca of Kawaihae and Shawna (Amsi) Ornelas of Las Vegas; son, Dayton (Tracy) Tagaca of Waimea; sister, Shirley Pacatang of Kohala; brothers, Ben (Dorothy) Badua of Kukuihaele, Alfred (Aina) Badua of Kaneohe, Oahu, Douglas (Carmela) Badua of Kohala, Jerry (Julia) Badua of Hilo and Kenneth (Darlene) Badua of Kohala; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert Nishimura
Albert G. Nishimura, 92, of Hilo died July 10, 2020, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Hospice Facility. Born in Pahala, he was a retired glazier for the former Honolulu Glass Co., member of Puna Hongwanji Mission, Kyu Pahoa Kumiai, Pahoa Nikkei Jin Kai and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Private services held. Family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts).
He is survived by wife, Florence Nishimura of Hilo; daughter, Laurie Nishimura of Hilo; son, Jeffrey (Tammy Molina) Nishimura of Hilo; granddaughter, Sharyse; brother, Bob Nishimura of Arizona; sisters, Doris Kuwahara of Hilo, Ellen Mizota of Kaneohe; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Yvonne Baker
Yvonne Haunani Young Baker, 69, of Hilo, died July 22, 2020 at home. Born in Honolulu, she was manager and part owner of KAHU Radio Station, an independent associate for LegalShield, Kumu Hula for Ke Opio o Puna, stewardess for Aloha Airlines, professional hula dancer and model, and served AARP as a community support liaison.

She is survived by husband, Frederick Baker Jr.; mother, Ada Heanu Mydell Young Nomura; sisters, Nalani (David) Sing, Heanu (James) Weller; brother, Ted (Wanda Meurs) Young; nieces, nephews,grandnieces and grandnephews.

Roy Fukushima
Roy Mitsuo Fukushima, 66, of Keaau, died March 16, 2020 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born June 3, 1953, in Kapaa, Kauai, he was a retired plumber and member of the Plumbers and Fitters UA Local Union 675.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 1 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Davey Pomaikailani Mahi, 67, of Hilo died July 5, 2020, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired transporter and x-ray technician for Hilo Medical Center, a former warehouse worker at Sears, U.S. Army veteran and member of the Keaukaha Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Friends may call at 4 p.m. July 30 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. service. Private committal at a later date. Casual attire.

Rogelio Sagabaen Subia, 72, of Keaau, died July 9, 2020 at Hilo Medical Center. Born Sept. 29, 1947, in Binsang, Pasuquin, Philippines, he was a macadamia nut picker for Royal Hawaiian Orchards in Keaau.
