State officials announced seven new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, bringing Hawaii’s total number of cases to 1,030.
Of the new cases, six were on Oahu and one was on Hawaii Island, according to the COVID-19 Joint Information Center.
Oahu has recorded most of the cases with 750 positive tests since Feb. 28, followed by Maui County with 128 cases, Hawaii County with 94 and Kauai County with 40.
Of the Hawaii residents who have tested positive for COVID-19, 781 of those cases have since recovered and been released from isolation. That includes 87 of the 94 cases on Hawaii Island.
Statewide, 118 patients have required hospitalization, including three on Hawaii Island.
Of the 19 deaths reported in Hawaii, 13 were on Oahu and six were on Maui.
