Queen’s North Hawaii Community Hospital will begin allowing visitors at the Waimea facility starting Wednesday.

Patients, both hospitalized and those coming for appointments or procedures, will be allowed to have one adult visitor or companion at a time, according to a Tuesday afternoon press release from the hospital. All visitors and companions will undergo screening, be required to wear a mask and must be at least age 18.

Visiting hours for hospitalized patients are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

In addition, the hospital announced that waiting rooms have reopened, though seating is limited due to social distancing requirements.
