Kona Ambulatory Surgery Center is a donation collection site for personal protective and medical equipment.
The center has been accepting community donations of items like masks, gloves, and eye protection and gowns, known as personal protective equipment (PPE), since March 27.
In addition, medical items/supplies, such as thermometers, blood pressure machines, bandages, bandages, etc., are being accepted.
Anyone looking to donate medical equipment should call the center ahead of time at (808) 331-7960 to ensure the center an accept the items.
Donations can be dropped off between 9 a.m. and noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at south end of the Walua Professional Center parking lot off Walua Road in Kailua-Kona.
