The North Kohala Community Resource Center hosted its third annual golf tournament at Hapuna Golf Course at Mauna Kea Resort on Saturday in South Kohala.

The golf tournament was a two-person scramble, highlighted by camaraderie, food, fun, and prizes. The annual event raises funds to help the nonprofit North Kohala Community Resource Center provide its support to as many as 90 active projects and programs in the rural North Kohala community it serves.

Since the center’s founding nearly 17 years ago, more than 185 community improvement projects have been sponsored.
