Kona Stories announces March book club meetings
Kona Stories Book Store hosts a handful of book clubs this month.
The fiction book club meets Tuesday to discuss “Outline” by Rachel Cusk.
The classic book club gathers March 17 to discuss “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” by Betty Smith.
On March 24, the nonfiction book club will discuss Nessa Carey’s book, “Hacking the Code of Life.”
Book clubs meet at 6 p.m. at the store. Book groups are free if books are purchased at Kona Stories, or a $5 donation is requested.

FOLK book club to discuss ‘Save Me the Plums’
Friends of the Libraries, Kona Book Club meets at 11 a.m. March 17 on the Kailua-Kona Public Library lanai.
This month’s selection is “Save Me the Plums” by Ruth Reichl.
The book club next meets in April to discuss “The Age of Innocence” by Edith Wharton.
