Mary Ann Walker

Mary Ann Castillo Walker, 90, of Waimea died Jan. 13, 2020, at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. She was born in Honokaa and was a retired gift shop manager at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and a member of the Honokaa Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Feb. 29 at the Honokaa Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for an 11 a.m. Mass. Casual attire; no flowers.

She is survived by son, Edward (Belinda) Walker Jr. of Honokaa; daughter, Diana (Jeffrey) Dias of Paauilo; nine grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Vivian Walker

Vivian Leticia Walker, 91, of Pahoa died Jan. 22, 2020, at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. She was born in Seattle and was a taxpayer advocate/federal agent with the Internal Revenue Service.

Private services held.

She is survived by sons, Michael (Judy) Beach of Omak, Wash., and Douglas Beach of Pahoa; sisters, Beverly Green of Seattle and Shirley Ohman of New York; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Melanie Correa

Melanie Leina’ala (Bell) Correa, 43, of Waimea, died Jan. 28, 2020. Born June 27, 1976 in Hilo, she was a barista at Starbucks Waimea, a supervisor at Ace Hardware Waimea, a receptionist at King Windward Nissan, and salesperson at Rainbow Paint Kaneoha.

A memorial service will be held at Hawaiian Homes Hall in Waimea, Visitation from 8-10 a.m., service at 10 a.m., Feb. 29. Lunch to follow.

Survived by companion Donn Paulos of Waimea; father Theodore (Rosie K.) Bell Jr. of Waimea, mother Sandra Cho of Kohala; sons Kazre Keeling of Kailua Kona, Deighton Bell of Kohala; daughter Kawehi Bell-Kaaekuahiwi of Hilo, Princess Whalen of Kailua-Kona, Xylie Correa of Waimea; brother Leighton Bell of Kohala; hanai brother Darrion Tayan-DeSilva of Waimea; step sisters Leah Tayan of West Virgina, Dawn Tayan of Hilo; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
