Audrie Mary Kaiulani Antonio, 77, of Hilo, died Jan. 19, 2020, at Pohai Malama in Hilo. She was born in Paukaa in October of 1942.

She is survived by her husband, Quirino Antonio, Jr. of Hilo; three sons, Davin (Perla) Antonio of Puna, Jason (Jaime) Antonio of Oahu, and Kurt (Rona) Antonio of Hilo; a brother, Alvin Kapahua of Oahu; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Ronette Obrey
Ronette Rae Alohakauimaikalani Kealaloloa Obrey, 62 of Holualoa, died Jan. 3, 2020, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Inglewood, California on Aug. 15, 1957, she was co-owner of Paulele Equipment, LLC. She was a loving tutu, a kumu kokua/alakai of the Haleo Hawaiian language program, a board member for the Hawai’i Kuauli Pacific &Asia Cultural Festival, and a student of Halau Ka’eaikahelelani.
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Feb. 9 at the West Hawaii Community Health Center pavilion, 74-5214 Keanalehu Drive, Kealakehe.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Obrey of Holualoa; daughters, Ashley (Tracy Epstein) Obrey of Holualoa, Mahealani Schuckert of Seattle, and Kekumaielani Obrey of Kaloko; son, Travis (Kilohana) Obrey of Honolulu; sisters, Keahi Medeiros of Makakilo, Oahu, Sunny Jean Inn of Ocean View, Joy (Mike) Sutton of Petaluma, CA, Kim (Wendell) Aquino of Kailua, Oahu, and Colette (Joy) Hanna-Blais of Rochester, NY; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Oscar Friels, Jr., 65, of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, died Jan. 9, 2020, at Tripler Medical Center. Born in Bunkie, Louisiana on July 29, 1954, he was the owner of Oscar Friels Household and Maintenance Services. He was a member of Kona Chorus Society, Knights of Columbus, MLK Committee and a U.S.M.C. veteran.
Viewing will be held at 8 a.m. Jan. 25 at Calvary Community Church in Kailua-Kona. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Final services and interment will be held in Bunkie, Louisiana.
