Pike named to Hamilton College Dean’s List
Sabrina Pike, of Kailua-Kona, has been named to the Dean’s List at Hamilton College for the 2019 fall semester.
To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.
Pike, a senior majoring in archaeology and creative writing, is a graduate of Kealakehe High School.
Students graduate from Azusa Pacific University
A pair of West Hawaii students graduated from Azusa Pacific University on Dec. 14, 2019, joining approximately 1,492 graduates at the winter commencement ceremonies. The students are Aidan Alcos of Kailua-Kona and Po’okela Hanato-Smith of Kealakekua.
Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian university with centers throughout Southern California.
Students earn Dean’s List from George Fox University
A handful of local students were among those who earned Dean’s List recognition at George Fox University for the fall 2019 semester.
From Kailua-Kona were Evan Richards; Bethany Davis and Caleb Kagawa and from Waikoloa was Alannah Hill.
George Fox University is ranked by Forbes among the top Christian universities in the country. More than 4,000 students attend classes in Newberg, Ore., and at teaching centers in Portland, Salem and Redmond, Ore.
