Beach parks reopen

Hawaii County Civil Defense reports all beach parks are open Friday morning with the exception of Spencer Park and Ohaiula Beach, which is scheduled to reopen at 2 p.m.

A handful of beach parks on the island’s west-side were closed Thursday due to ongoing high surf conditions and debris cleanup. All reopened at normal time on Friday morning.
