Iwao Nagata
Iwao Nagata, 95, of Hilo, died Nov. 27, 2019, at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born May 11, 1924, in Hilo, he was a retired maintenance supervisor for Hawaii County Department of Public Works Schultz Siding, U.S. Army World War II veteran and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Friends may call at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 18 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for an 11 a.m. service. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
He is survived by daughters, Lynn Nagata, Ella (Roy Santos) Nagata and Sharyl (Roy) Okamoto, all of Hilo; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Gertrude Miprano
Mrs. Gertrude M. Miprano, 82, of Honomu, died Dec. 3, 2019, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Feb. 21, 1937, in South Hilo, she was a retired office manager at a medical clinic in Hilo.
Private services will be held.
She is survived by her sons, Derek Miprano of Hilo, Cory Miprano of Kailua-Kona, and Bradley (Marie) Miprano of Washington; sister, Gladys (Allen) Oyama of Kaneohe; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Rose Butler
Mrs. Rose Molly Butler, 91, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 24, 2019, at Life Care Center of Kona. Born Oct. 8, 1928, in Rochester, New York, she was a retired real estate broker and the president of the Ocean View Senior’s group.
Private services will be held at a later date.
She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Haleiwa of Milolii; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Polly Camba
Polly Anna Camba, 61, of Hilo, died Nov. 21, 2019, at the Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Pahala and was a homemaker.
Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. Dec. 20 at the Dodo Mortuary chapel. A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m., followed by cremation. Casual attire.
She is survived by husband, David Dean Camba of Hilo; sons, Paul “Dean Boy” Camba of Hilo and Camilo “Cammy Boy” Carlos of Oregon; daughters, Deanna (Earl, Jr.) Camba-Kaniaupio of Pahoa and Melody Dacalio of Pahala; brothers, Camilo (Florence) Carlos, Jr. of Kohala and Cornel (Laura) Carlos of Naalehu; sisters, Yvonne (Louis) Perez of Naalehu, Charlene Carlos of Pahala and Lyndell Carlos of Hilo; hanai sons, Elpidio Carlos, Jr. of Keaau, Darcy Belaras of Oahu, Ricardo “Ricky Boy” Javar, Jr. of Naalehu and Jamie Lee of Hilo; 13 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
