Medical examiner: Girl’s death accidental

KAILUA-KONA — The medical examiner has rendered his findings in his autopsy performed on the 4-year-old girl who died following an incident at a home in the Hawaiian Beaches Subdivision on Nov. 27.

The victim is identified as Kayla-Marie Kehaulani Mainaaupo, according to the Hawaii Police Department. Her cause of death was determined to be a stab wound and ruled that the manner of death as accidental.
