A two-story Hilo home was damaged in a fire Sunday, the Hawaii Fire Department reported.
Firefighters arrived at the Kehaulani Street house around 8:30 p.m. and extinguished the blaze at 9:13 p.m.
No one was at home at the time. The cause remains under investigation.
Red Cross said in a press release that disaster volunteers are meeting with affected residents and ensure their immediate emergency needs for food, shelter and clothing are met.
