Theresa Doyle

Theresa Frances Doyle, 59, of Captain Cook, died Dec. 9, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born June 5, 1960, in Tulsa, Okla., she was a licensed practical nurse and caregiver, a tile setter, a macadamia nut farmer and sailor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any animal shelter of choice. For information call (707) 701-1105.

She is survived by siblings, Martha (Wesley Kilgore) Doyle, Mary (Thomas Lucchesi) Doyle, Katherine Doyle all of California, Stephen Doyle of Captain Cook; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Cinnamon Nielsen

Cinnamon Hilda Quilausing Nielsen, 66, of Keaau, died Dec. 7, 2019, at Pohai Malama. She was born in Olaa in 1953 and was a retired nurse and homemaker.

No services will be held. Family requests no koden.

She is survived by her husband, Gregory Nielsen of Keaau; father, Perfecto Quilausing of Keaau; brother, Oscar Quilausing of Keaau; and sisters, Estra Quilausing of Kailua and Wilma Quilausing of Michigan.

Victoria Whitworth

Victoria Kawaauhau Whitworth, 82, of Hilo, died Nov. 7, 2019, at home. Born in Ka’ohe, South Kona, she was a retired administrative officer at Puuhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, a U.S. Army WAC Veteran of the Korean War, a weaver with Kaululauhala o Kona and a member of the Church of Christ at Ocean View.

Visitation continues 9-10 a.m. Dec. 14 the Dodo Mortuary chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Private committal services at a later date. Casual attire; no flowers.

She is survived by daughters, Cynthia (Felipe) Galieto of South Kona and Cathy (Joseph) Kuamoo of Hilo; brothers, Lot (Alice) Kawaauhau of Naalehu, Donald (Stella) Kawaauhau of Keaau, Leroy Acia of South Kona and Lester (Leilani) Acia of South Kona; sisters, Jane Staadt of Volcano, Ellen (William) Cullen of Washington State, Debra (Francisco) Javar of South Kona and Dona (Clay) Sanders of Waverly, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Bert Nakayama

Bert Shigeki Nakayama, 79, of Hilo, died Oct. 30, 2019, at the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. He was born in Hilo and was a retired manager with the Big Island Educational Federal Credit Union, a member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, an avid golfer and a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Private services held.

He is survived by wife, Irma Nakayama of Hilo; daughter, Lisa Nakayama of Waipahu; son-in-law, Keith Tokuda of Waipahu; brother, Larry (Suzanne) Nakayama of Hilo; sisters, Lillian Watanabe and Judith (Stanley) Fujiyama of Hilo and Kay (Masao) Oshiro of Honolulu; two grandsons; numerous nieces and nephews.

Lucille Arboleda

Lucille Presiados Arboleda, 34, of Kailua-Kona, died Dec. 3, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Feb. 25, 1985, in Iligan City, Philippines, she was a sales associate at Walmart Store in Kailua-Kona and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church.

Services held.

She is survived by her parents, Geraldo and Anita Arboleda of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Allan Arboleda of Kailua-Kona, Wendell (Theresa Mae) Arboleda of Liliuokalani, Ramir Arboleda and Jonathan Arboleda of Kailua-Kona; sister, Gerry Anne Arboleda of Kailua-Kona; two nieces; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
