Kealakehe High School’s homecoming dance was canceled Friday night due to a gun threat.
Lt. Edmoundson of the Hawaii Police Department said it was a “hearsay threat,” and they had no responsible party as of press time Friday, but added police are investigating it.
For student safety, Kealakehe High canceled all school activities for Friday night, including football practice and the homecoming dance, and the campus was evacuated.
