Drew Leo Paniku, 59, of Hilo, died Aug. 28, 2019, in Hilo. Born on May 30, 1960, in Hilo, he was a semi-truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Kuwaye Trucking; Suisan; Conen’s; Cypriano Trucking; and KCK and a U.S. Navy veteran and member of Hilo Jaycees.
A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 15 at Haili Congregational Church. Casual attire.
He is survived by, wife, Charlene “Char” Paniku; daughters, Annika Paniku and Punahele (Jared) Clarke; sons, Kalani (Ralphie) Lovell, Jr., David (Nikki) Paniku and Kai Paniku; sisters, Irene Fujita and Paulette Robledo; numerous grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kimberly Cabuyaban
Kimberly Leilani Cabuyaban, of Kula, formerly of Hilo, and Honolulu, died July 20, 2019 in Kula, Maui. She was born Aug. 9, 1962, in California.
A celebration of life will be held 5-9 p.m. Sept. 15 at Millilani Recreation Center No. 3 on Oahu.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Nalo Cabuyaban; sons, Nalo Cabuyaban (Alohalani Mailou-Kama) and Nolan Cabuyaban (Kecia Sakugawa); daughters, Noelle Cabuyaban, Noreen Cabuyaban (Russel Pagala), and Naelyn Cabuyaban; sister, Antoinette Vasconcellos; brothers, Gary Vasconcellos and Randy Vasconcellos; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Eddie Fernandez
Eddie Gorospe Fernandez, 50, of Keaau, died Aug. 31, 2019, at Hilo Medical Center. Born on Aug. 20, 1969, in San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, he was a painter and carpenter working for Nicholas Contracting Company.

Kenneth Kenji Muraoka, 75, of Kailua-Kona, died March 25, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Dec. 28, 1943, in Honolulu, he was a glazer for Central Pacific Glass.

Timothy Allen Brinley, 70, of Keaau, died Aug. 30, 2019, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Tacoma, Wash., he was a retired registered nurse.

Ruthann Adviento
Ruthann Adviento, 41, of Kailua-Kona, died Aug. 17, 2019, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Feb. 17, 1978, in Lib, Marshall Islands, she was a cashier at Target Store in Kailua-Kona and a member of JIA Women’s Softball League and New Hope Legacy.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 21 at Puuanahulu Community Center in Puuanahulu for an 11 a.m. celebration of life. The family requests casual attire.
