Bernabe Domingo
Mr. Bernabe Ernesto B. Domingo, 83, of Captain Cook, died Aug. 25, 2019, at his residence. Born June 1, 1936, in Mariquest, Solsona, Philippines, he was a sugar cane worker for the Hamakua Plantation. He was a nut picker for Mac Nut Farm of Hawaii, a kitchen helper at the King Kamehameha Hotel, a maintenance man at the Kona Country Club, and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
A wake service will be held from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Old A’s Makaeo Pavilion. An 8 a.m. funeral service will continue at the pavilion Sept. 16 followed by burial at Naalehu County Cemetery. The family requests casual attire worn.
He is survived by his wife, Trifona Domingo of Captain Cook; sons, Alberto (Iluminada) Domingo of Captain Cook, Rolando (Myrna) Domingo, Ruben (Narcisa) Domingo, Rosbel (Florie) Domingo and George (Joy) Domingo, all of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Marybel (Warlito) Campos of Kealakehe, Marie (Bryan) Pai of Kaloko, Evangeline (Jessie) Reyes of Kealakehe, Marites Domingo of Kealakekua, Marieta (Meldrin) Reyes of Lilioukalani, Marilyn Domingo of Captain Cook; brothers, Alberto (Purita) Domingo of Philippines, Julio (Emily) Domingo of Pualani Estates; Sisters, Precentacion (Jose) Mora, Roleta (Iringan, Juanita Lobendino, Estelita (Aurello) Guzman, Lita (Charito) Juan, Shirley (Reymondo) Tolentino, all of Philippines, Francisca (Ernesto) Campos of Kailua-Kona; one sister-in-law; 35 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

James Fujimoto
Mr. James Kameo Fujimoto, 91, of Hilo, died Aug. 12, 2019, in a private care home in Hilo. Born Dec. 12, 1927, in Hilo, he was the retired proprietor of the former J&J Auto Repairs in Hilo, a United States Army veteran who served in World War II and member of the Higashi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, Hilo Y’s Men &Women’s Club, Big Island Automotive Trades Association (B.I.A.T.A.), Born Losers Golf Club and Boogieman Golf Club.
Private services held. No flowers. No koden.
He is survived by wife, Lillian Fujimoto of Hilo; daughters, Jo-Ann (Craig) Shiroma of Hilo and Laura (Lance Yamada) Fujimoto of Hilo; sister, Michiko Omori of Los Angeles, California; grandson; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

Kenneth Horio
Mr. Kenneth Yoshiyuki “Yoshi” Horio, 83, of Hilo, died Aug. 22, 2019, in the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Facility in Hilo. Born Sept. 8, 1935, in Hilo, he was retired from Verizon as a telephone technician, avid fisherman and member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.

He is survived by wife, Etsuko Horio of Hilo; daughters, Suzette (Lance) Serikaku of Honolulu and Pam (Douglas) Oki of Hilo; sister, Daisy (Norman) Kujubu of Sacramento, Calif.; two grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

David Arciga
Mr. David Felicisemo Maikai “D” Arciga, 61, of Paauilo, died Aug. 11, 2019 at the North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. Born Oct. 21, 1957, in Honokaa, he was retired hairdresser and florist.
Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sept. 14 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. Casual attire is requested. No flowers.
He is survived by companion, Charles “Chuck” Wolfe of Paauilo; sister, Jacqueline (Robert) Tanoue of Honokaa; hanai brother, Doroteo “Bobo” (Vanessa) Alonzo of Oregon; two nieces; one nephew; two grandnieces; two grandnephews; numerous relatives.

William Duff
William Lee Duff, 71, of Pahoa died July 5, 2019, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Los Angeles, he was a retired realtor and a Bon Vivant.

Richard Omija, Sr.
Richard Tsuneki Omija, Sr., 98, of Waiohinu, died Aug. 27, 2019, in Hilo. Born in Waiohinu, he was a retired carpenter for the State Department of Accounting and General Services and U.S. Army World War II veteran, 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Company F.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Sept. 13 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

Genevieve Pearl Seguirant-Llanes, 73, of Wahiawa, Oahu, died Aug. 25, 2019, in Wahiawa. Born April 11, 1946, in Ka’u, she was a KCC cafeteria manager.
Services were Sept. 8 at Waiohinu Park in Naalehu.
She is survived by her husband, Benito Eric Llanes of Naalehu; mother, Marianne Manuel of Naalehu; children, Roy Kuahuia, Darlene Galigo, Carl Enos Sr., Darrin Enos Sr., Myron Enos Sr., and Brian Enos.
Randall Parker
Randall “Randy” Alen Parker died Aug. 12 in Hilo. He was a Big Island guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and recording artist.
