USA Today ranks Hawaii Island businesses highly

Hawaii Forest &Trail

Hawaii Forest &Trail took the No. 2 spot in the 2019 USA Today 10Best Readers’ Choice travel award for the Best Tour Company in Hawaii.

The well-known national newspaper’s expert travel panel chose 20 nominees and gave readers four weeks to vote for the candidate of their choice. After a busy month of voting, Hawaii Forest &Trail stands proudly in the number two spot among other Hawaii tour companies.

“We are certainly honored to be among some of Hawaii’s best tour companies. The number two spot feels pretty great,” said Rob Pacheco, Hawaii Forest &Trail founder and president, in a press release. “All of us here at Hawaii Forest &Trail work hard to bring the very best experience to our guests. This recognition awards our team’s dedication.”

Fairmont Orchid

Fairmont Orchid, a AAA Four Diamond luxury resort along the pristine Kohala Coast, was named the best hotel on Hawaii Island by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards 2019. This same survey also ranked Fairmont Orchid the third best hotel in all of the Hawaiian Islands.

In addition, Travel + Leisure named Fairmont Orchid one of the Top 15 Resorts in Hawaii in its World’s Best Awards 2019 and its destination, Hawaii Island, was ranked the No. 3 island of the Hawaiian Islands.

“We’re honored that Fairmont Orchid has been recognized as one of the top hotels in the Hawaiian Islands by USA Today and Travel + Leisure,” said Kelley Cosgrove, Fairmont Orchid’s general manager. “Our team’s commitment to providing gold standard service for our guests allows them to create lasting memories for their once-in-a-lifetime dream vacations on Hawaii Island.”
