This year has been another busy year for popular Korean dramas. “The Hymn of Death” will end this week on Monday. A special, one-part drama “The Reason We Can’t Sleep” will air on Tuesday.

Sunday, 6:45 p.m.: Tae Oh tells He Ra that if she helps him steal In Joon’s heart, he would take care of her sister’s hospital bills. Soo Hyun confronts He Ra, telling her to make her first day at Gold Shoes, her last. In Joon tells Soo Hyun not to interfere with company matters, as she is just a model and an outsider. Soo Hyun lands a position as art director of the company. Sunday, 7:45 p.m.: In Joon contemplates if he should really marry Soo Hyun. Suk Jin tells In Joon about the possible consequences the company would face if their marriage falls through.

Monday, 7:45 p.m.: Sim-duk agrees to accompany Woo-jin, as he travels to Tokyo. Upon Woo-jin’s return home, he finds his father near a fire pit full of Woo-jin’s letters. The reality Sim-duk and Woo-jin face, becomes crueler as the days go by. They only have each other to trust and lean on, though they both know family is important. Will they choose to endure through their harsh reality in the end?

Yujeong is unemployed and hasn’t slept for 2 years. Youngjae and Yujeong live in the same neighborhood and meet by coincidence. Due to their insomnia, they have similar routines and meet often.

Wednesday, 7:45 p.m.: Wang Shik and Yu Ra plan a meeting, but Wang Shik disappears right as he sees her. Sunny asks Lee Hyuk why he’s been so distant, but he tells her that he is very busy with work. Yu Ra confronts Empress Dowager. In the distance, Lee Hyuk looks at his mother with a devilish smile. Thursday, 7:45 p.m: Grand Empress Dowager confronts Yu Ra about what she saw. Lee Hyuk visits late Empress So Hyun’s resting place. Wang Shik is thrown into jail after a misunderstanding. Lee Hyuk confesses to Grand Empress Dowager about his relationship with Yu Ra.

Ji-hoon’s brother finds out the truth about Hye-soo and Ji-hoon’s relationship. Sung-guk asks Hye-soo to tell Ji-hoon that she approached him for money. Ji-hoon asks Hye-soo what she’d want to do if she had a boyfriend.
