Wreaths Across America
Civil Air Patrol cadets of Kona Composite Squadron is ready for its eighth year participating in the Wreaths Across America program, a tradition of placing wreaths on the headstones of our nation’s fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery and hundreds of other veterans’ cemeteries across the country during the holidays to remember, honor, and teach about the sacrifices made by our veterans.
CAP will be holding a wreath-placing ceremony at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery at 9 a.m. on Dec. 15, timed to coincide with the ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, and will place a wreath for every veteran interred at our cemetery. The community is invited to participate.
