Ignacio Villanueva
Ignacio Villanueva, 75, of Hilo, died Nov. 10, 2018, at Hawaii Care Choices (formerly Hospice of Hilo). He was born on Jan. 20, 1943, in Western Caroline Islands. He was a liaison for The Commonwealth of The Northern Mariana Island Government.
Private services were held.
He was survived by wife, June Villanueva of Hilo; sons, Bill Villanueva and Benbow Villanueva of Oahu; daughters, Dolores Villanueva and Christina Villanueva of Oahu, Junko (Bobert) Calma of Hilo; sister, Teresita Villanueva of Guam; nine grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rafael Niro-Davalos
Rafael Dimitri Niro-Davalos, 47, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 12, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital. Born on Dec. 22, 1970, in Baha, Mexico, he was a skilled rockwall builder and tile setter.
Life celebration services will be announced at a later date.
Rafael is survived by his son, Jacob Davalos Hine of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Eddie Davalos of Pomona, Carlos Davalos of Long Beach, Gerardo Davalos of Torrance, Jose Davalos of Whittier; sister, Nellie Mesa of Claremont.

Adrian Ah Tou
Adrian Ah Tou, 86, of Keaau, died Oct. 8, 2018, in Las Vegas. He was born on Sept. 25, 1932, in Hilo. He was a heavy equipment operator in Eniwetok.
Private services held. No flowers.
Adrian is survived by spouse, Yuriko H. Higa Ah Tou of Keaau; stepson, Walter Higa of Keaau; stepdaughters, Karen (Howard) Oshiro of Hilo, Annette Higa of Las Vegas, Susan (Mitsugu) Urakami of Japan; brothers ,Thomas “Jr” (Viola) Atou of Honolulu, Samson (Ginny) Ah Tou of Ewa Beach; half-brothers, Norman (Monique) Enos, Alexander (Sandra) Enos. one step-grandson.

Susumu Ogomori
Susumu Ogomori, 92, of Hilo, died Oct. 20, 2018, at home. He was born on Sept. 6, 1926, in Hilo. He was a veteran of the Army.

Susumu is survived by daughters, Noreen (Matthew) Varney of Honolulu, Ada Tomosada of Honolulu; son, Alan (Alinlux “Ou”) Ogomori; one grandson.

Thomas Lawrence
Thomas Edward Lawrence, 71, of Kapoho, died July 21, 2018, at Colleenahs home in Honokaa. Born March 28, 1947, in Evanston, Ill., he was a teacher for decades after working in the Peace Corps, a mango farmer, and a nature lover throughout his life.
A celebration of his life took place July 22 at Waialea Bay. Please remember him by planting a tree in his memory.
He is survived by his daughter, Oma (Brad) Knox; brothers, Jimmy and Jerry Lawrence and their families; one grandson.
