Kohala High School’s second Girl Powered Workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the robotics shop. Space is still open for girls, boys and adults to participate.

The event is intended to get young girls interested in the fun of STEM fields and the world of robotics. The day will include a series of hands-on activities using LeTry kits, Robot kits, VEX Iq materials and VRC. Snacks, lunch, Girl Powered t-shirts, glasses and goodies will be provided. There will also be time for participants to work on coding if they want to bring their robots.

The cost is $25 per person. For questions, call Fern White at 896-0316.
