From 5-6 p.m. Sept. 13, the Friends of the Library Book Club will meet at Honokaa Public Library to discuss their book of the month, “Anshu: Dark Sorrow,” by Juliet Kono. Copies may be available for pickup at the library.

The book in October will be “Lab Girl” by Hope Jahren, and November will be “Pachinko” by Min Jin Lee. The program is made possible by the Friends of the Hamakua Libraries — Honokaa.
