Anyone is welcome to join the quilting group for their monthly meeting 9:30 a.m.-noon Sept. 8 in the meeting room at Thelma Parker Memorial Library. It includes a business meeting, show-and-tell and sharing new ideas and techniques. The meetings are held the second Saturday each month.

Mauna Kea Quilters, started in 1997, is a group of patchwork quilters who enjoy sharing their love of quilting with others. Each year they donate many quilts to help raise money for worthwhile organizations in the area.
