Advanced Ukulele meets from 9:30—11 a.m. every Tuesday with Aunty Marjie Spencer. Experienced players of all ages are welcome to bring their ukulele and join in a morning of friendship and song.

The Safe Child Act Community Awareness program with Barry Goldstein will begin at 1 p.m. this Thursday. He is a nationally recognized domestic violence speaker, advocate and author of important potential “win-win” legislation which requires community support. Not only does The Safe Child Act provide immediate tools through best practices for professionals in the family court system working with those embroiled in domestic violence and abuse, but it promises longterm success and healthy, life-extending outcomes if followed. Chair Yoga with Kit Hill, a yoga enthusiast, meets from 9:30—10:15 a.m. every Friday. This weekly class is for those who need a gentle and slow yoga in a chair practice. The movements are designed to stretch and strengthen the body without standing or lying on the mat. It may include some easy standing poses behind the chair. The class is also good for beginners who, in the future, may progress to a next level yoga program.
Scrabble Meetup gathers from 1:30-4 p.m. every Friday with Annabel Spielman. Word lovers of every age and skill level are encouraged to play this classic game with relaxed rules; dictionary use permitted. It’s a great way to retain and expand vocabulary, spelling, memory and observation skills in a congenial atmosphere.
