Hip-hop with Mr. Kneel, 3 p.m. at the Kailua-Kona Public Library. Mr. Kneel brings his music-making fun to children from kindergarten to fifth grade. Raised bed and container gardening workshop and Ulu Work Day, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Maona Community Garden. Learn to make any space into growing space with different styles of raised bed construction. • The Kailua-Kona Public Library hosts the Ala Kahakai Trail Association at 5:30 p.m. The Ala Kahakai National Historic Trail is a 175-mile trail corridor of ancient and historic coastal routes reconnecting our traditional ahupua’a to unite local communities around common goals to preserve Hawaii’s cultural and ecological landscape.
