Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Kohala and Waimea 10th anniversary concert approaches

At 1 p.m. July 21, Ryukyukoku Matsuri Daiko Kohala and Waimea will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a special concert at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea.

The multicultural concert will feature RMD Taiko drummers from Kohala, Waimea, Oahu, Kauai and Okinawa, as well as hula, vocal and dance performances. Special performers will be Hui Okinawa Kobudo Taiko from Hilo, Okinawan Dancing by Ryusei Honryu Ryukokai, Norman Kaneshiro of Ukwanshin Kabudan and Okinawan performing stars Ayumi Yonaha, Atsushi Yamashiro and Hidekatsu.
