From 8 a.m.-5 p.m. August 16 and 17, Hawaii Community Caregiver Network (HCCN) is sponsoring a free, two-day Class Leader Training Workshop on conducting Powerful Tools for Caregivers (PTC) classes at Waimea Community Center.
The workshop will train volunteers to co-lead PTC classes throughout West Hawaii. Training also includes a curriculum to assist grandparents who are caring for their grandchildren. Participants must attend both workshop days and agree to co-lead two PTC class series within a year after completion of the training.
