Charlie Carroll
Charlie Carroll, 64, of Honaunau, died July 12, 2017, in California. Born on July 16, 1952, in Miami, he moved to Hawaii in 1978. He was a coffee farmer, liked to hunt, and enjoyed fishing and surfing.
Celebration of life will be held 10 a.m. July 15 at Puuhonua O Honaunau.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Carroll of Honaunau; daughters Noelani Riskas (Brian Riskas) and Chelsea Carroll of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; and one grandchild.
Jessica Wells Costa
Jessica Ann Wells Costa, 33, of Kalaoa and formerly of Oregon, died June 3, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital in Kealakekua. Born July 20, 1983, in Oregon, she was employed by Costco Corp.
Private services held. Donations may be made in her memory to a public school of the donor’s choice.
She is survived by three daughters, Layla, Gwenna and Edenann; paternal grandmother, Elenor Wells, of Yakima, Wash.; father, Jeffrey Wells, of Yakima, Wash.; mother, Judy Lutz Wells, of Bend, Ore.; sister, Misty; and brother, Jeremy.

Barbara Littorin
Barbara J. Littorin, 92, of Kamuela, died June 15, 2018, at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born April 3, 1926, in San Francisco, she was a macadamia nut farmer, lei maker, weaver and bookkeeper.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. July 14 at Hauoli Kamanao Church in Milolii for a 10:30 a.m. memorial service. The family requests casual attire.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Barbara Jean) Littorin of Opihihale; sister, Shirley (Rex) Fortney of Hayward, Calif.; an aunt; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; two nieces; numerous cousins.

Wendall Karr
Wendall “Dido” David Karr, also known as Wendall Lee Pacheco, 63, of Kurtistown, died on June 9, 2018, at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born on April 25, 1955, in Hilo, he was a realtor and businessman. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo.
Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. July 10 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo for a 7 p.m. wake service. Visitation will continue from 8:30-9:30 a.m. July 11 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Lehua Section. Casual attire.
He is survived by daughter, Wendy Karr of Hilo; mother, Mildred Pacheco of Hilo; brother, Donald Pacheco of Hilo; sisters, Nancy Pacheco of Las Vegas, and Corrina Pacheco of Hilo; two grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
