Latest book by local author Chuck Antone Jr. is published
A new romance-mystery by local author, Chuck Antone Jr. debuted this week on Amazon.com titled, “Chantell: Married or Murdered by Christmas.”
Chantell Lane inherits $5 million from an eccentric great aunt. But to inherit the money, Chantell must be married by Christmas of the following year. She thinks only her mother, father and her aunt’s lawyer know about the inheritance.
That is her thought until she meets Ted Shaw, who wines and dines her. After she becomes engaged to Ted, she learns that he knows all about the inheritance and realizes that he wants to marry her for the $5 million.
When she calls off the marriage, he gives her an ultimatum to either be married or murdered by Christmas.
Chuck has written 12 other books, some of which have been translated into Chinese. He likes to write romance, mystery, fiction or mystery-romance, depending on the story.
Chuck has also written most of the lyrics and music for six of his albums. Three of these albums have been nominated for the Na Haku Hanohano awards, Hawaii’s own Grammy. One of them has won the People’s Choice Award for the inspirational album of the year.
For the last eight years, he has been concentrating on his writings.
