The Community Collaboration featured games and prizes along with the chance to dunk Regency executive director Faith Gianan, Council candidates Kelly Drysdale and Bronson Kossow, multi-sports maniac Sean Peaman Pagett and radio personality Dave Lawrence.
As of 2016, more than 26,000 Hawaii residents had been diagnosed with the degenerative disease with the number anticipated to grow to 35,00 by 2025 according to the Alzheimer’s Association.
