Kona Oceanfront Gallery is hosting the debut of Kailua-Kona’s own legendary ink master, Rockwood, who will making his first fine art appearance to the public. Rockwood will be stepping out of his famous tattoo studio and on to the stage at Kona Oceanfront from 5-9 p.m. Friday.
Kona Oceanfront Gallery is hosting Kailua-Kona’s own legendary ink master, Rockwood, who will making a fine art appearance to the public. Rockwood will be stepping out of his famous tattoo studio and on to the stage at Kona Oceanfront from 5-9 p.m. Friday.
Rockwood will be unveiling his new line of original custom painted 3D surf boards as well as launching his unique line of Palm Tiki artwork which is getting rave reviews in the fine-art community.
This special event will be sponsored by Lava 105.3 and Kona Brewing Company which will providing free spirits and pupus for all that attend the exhibition.
Known as the preferred tattoo artist to the stars, Rockwood has created tattoos for over 50 famous rock stars and celebrities including Cher, Heather Locklear, Nikki Sixx of Motley Crew and Bret Michaels from Poison, among others.
