Rudy Carlos

Rudy Domingo Carlos, 56, of Waikoloa, died April 29, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital. Born May 25, 1961, in the Philippines; he was a maintenance worker for a resort in Waikoloa.

Friends may call 5-6:30 p.m. June 8 at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Waimea; service at 7 p.m. Casual attire Friends may call again 8-9:30 a.m. June 9 at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Service at 10 a.m.; burial at 1 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park (Lehua Section).

He is survived by wife, Zenaida Corpuz Carlos of Waikoloa; son, Sean Carlos of Waikoloa; parents, Julio and Pilar Domingo Carlos of Pahoa; brother, Robert Wilson (Agnes) Carlos of Waimea; sisters, Rose (Alan) Takahata and Rebecca (Gilbert) Javier, all of Las Vegas, Remey (Charles) Deleon of San Jose, Ronella (Greg) Bidad of Puna and Mila Domingo (Cole) Becker of Virginia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jose Ilaban (Andrea Ibarra) Corpuz of Philippines; brother-in-law and sister in-law, Bernard and Carolina Corpuz of California; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Quyen Lu

Quyen Tu Lu, 73, of Hilo, died May 30, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born Dec. 16, 1944, in Vietnam, she was a farmer.

Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. on June 7 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; service at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, IlimaSection. Casual attire.

She is survived by husband, Man Voong of Hilo; daughters, Elaine (Darren) Higa and Linda Voong, all of Hilo; grandsons, Ethan Higa and Alex Higa, all of Hilo; five sisters and two brothers, all of California.

Alexandria Dosher

Alexandria Dosher, 77, of Kailua-Kona, died May 21, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, on May 17, 1941, she was a retired social worker and a former member of Kona Hospital Auxiliary and Kona Yacht Club, and a former board member of Hospice of Kona; West Hawaii Water Garden Society (The Pond Club), Kona Orchid Society and former Guardian ad litem.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The family requests in lieu of flowers a donation may be made in her memory to Hospice of Kona at P.O. Box 4130, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Dosher; son, Chris (Kate) Dosher; brother, Alex March; a niece and nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Henry Pasco

Henry Pasco, 75, of Kohala, died May 20, 2018, at his residence. Born Sept. 19, 1942, in Kohala, he was in the U.S. Navy, laborer at Kohala Sugar Co., a boat coxswain with the Marine Department at Enewitok Island, a fabricator at Magic Homes in Kohala and state harbor master at Honokohau and Kawaihae harbors.

Private services were held.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Pasco of Kapaau; sons, Shane Stevens, Sherwood (Shannon) Stevens; daughter, Sheryl Stevens, all of Hawi; step son, Ian (Cheryl Rae) Yamamoto of Halaula, step daughters, Shauna Yamamoto of Hawi, Erin Glory of Las Vegas, NV, and Ashie (Shayne Takata) Carey of Kapolei, Oahu; brothers, Harry Pasco of Kohala, Lawrence (Patsy) Pasco of Kahei, HI; sister, Adeline (Susumu) Sugata of Waimea; sisters-in-law, Trini Pasco of Hilo and Lucy Pasco of Hawi; five grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
