Waimea Elementary School’s 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony was held in Thelma Parker Gym Thursday afternoon. Ninety students will move on to middle school this fall.

On the same day, six Waimea Middle School (WMS) eighth graders were saluted for exceptional academic achievement at the school’s end-of-year Exit Ceremony at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. Of the 76-member class, the six students carried a 3.6 grade point average or better for their entire three years at WMS.
