Raiatea Helm to perform two charity shows in Waimea

Sonny Lim, Keola Grace and Kevin Kealoha will accompany Raiatea Helm, a renowned falsetto singer, for two performances June 9 at Mana Christian Ohana Hall as fundraisers for Halau Na Pua O Hawaii Nei. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for a 12-noon show and 4:30 p.m. for the 5 p.m. show.

Helm grew up on Molokai and sings traditional Hawaiian songs. In 2005 her album, “Sweet and Lovely,” was nominated for a Grammy award.

Tickets are $35 per person and are available at Graciela’s Hair Salon in Waimea and from Na Pua O Hawaii Nei members.
