Elaine Hiraishi
Elaine Sachiko Hiraishi, 82, of Kailua Kona, died April 27 at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born July 16, 1935, in Hilo, she was retired and a former co-owner of Blondie’s.
Friends may call 10 a.m. Sunday, June 3 at Kealakeha High School baseball field. Celebration of life at 11 a.m. Family requests no flowers.
She is survived by husband, Walter Hiraishi; sons, Aaron Hiraishi, Jerry (Paula) Hiraishi, Hank Hiraishi all of Kailua Kona; daughter, Ann (Neil) McCue of California; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard Chamberlain
Richard Chamberlain, 57, of Kona, died Feb. 2, 2018, at Kona Community Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1961.
He has no known next of kin.

George Cabral
George Cabral, 88, of Ookala, died April 27, 2018, at home. Born in Honokaa, he was retired from the former Hamakua Sugar Co., a U.S. Army Korean War veteran and a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church, ILWU Pensioners Club and Laupahoehoe Senior Citizens.
Friends may call at 8 a.m., May 26, at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 10:30 a.m. service. Burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No.2. The family requests casual attire be worn.
He is survived by wife, Beatrice Cabral of Ookala; children, Debbie (Harvey) Cabral-Galapir of Ookala, Georgette Nacis of Mililani, Oahu, Darren (Michelle) Cabral of Honolulu, Sophia (Alika Jr.) Cabral-Maikui of Ookala, Jason Cabral of Hilo; sisters, Annie (Bill) Glynn and Adeline Snyder of Ohio; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Vincent Pereira
Vincent Louis Pereira Sr., 81, of Hilo, died May 10, 2018, at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center in Hilo. Born Sept. 13, 1936, in Honolulu, he was a custodian for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hilo and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Keaukaha Ward).
Friends may call on May 25 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Hilo Stake Center), visitation from 9-11 a.m.; funeral service at 11 a.m. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed; burial at Alae Cemetery (Mormon Section).
He is survived by daughters, Margaret Louise Puanani Waiki Pereira of Columbia, South Carolina, Shaunna-Ann Pereira and Jodi Leilani Waiki (Vanessa) Pereira of Hilo; sons, Vincent Louis (Mia) Pereira Jr. of Hilo and George Joseph Lono Waiki (Twinkles) Pereira of Wailuku, Maui; and three grandchildren.

Lawrence Kalani Hajime Maesaka, 77, of Hilo died March 18, 2018 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, member of the Tomodachi Golf Club, Buzzard Golf Club and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
