Beverly Joaquin

Beverly Joaquin, 67, of Papaaloa, died May 5, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Paauilo, she worked for the Department of Education for 17 years and was an owner of Hawaii Professional Movers, an office manager for Royal Hawaiian Movers and a minister of the Honokaa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Visitation will be 3-4 p.m. May 18 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo for a 4 p.m. memorial service. Casual attire and no flowers.

She is survived by husband, Benjamin Joaquin, Jr. of Papaaloa; sons, Kyle Joaquin of Minnesota, Ryan (Tessi) Joaquin of Hilo and Kevin (Nerisa) Joaquin of Hilo; hanai daughter, Kalena Joaquin of Papaaloa; siblings, Josefina Carriaga of Paauilo, Lauren Aragon of California, Rocky (Sharee) Lapinid of Paauilo, Angela (Jonathan) Ponce of Paukaa, Floyd (Charlene) Lapinid of Waikoloa, Sheila (Dwayne) DeLuz of Paauilo and Aileen (Jacob) Thomas of Honolulu, Oahu; 12 grandchildren; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nancy Humbert

Nancy “Alice” Jane Humbert, 66, of Waimea, died May 10, 2018, at her residence. Born April 3, 1952, in Toronto, she was the owner of Island Herbal and always loved flowers.

Service information to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Road, Kamuela, Hawaii 96743.

She is survived by daughter, Leala (Blaine Kusler) Humbert of Waimea; sister, Deborah Lloyd; brothers, Craig Lloyd both of California, Bart (Beth) Lloyd of Massachusetts; numerous nieces and nephews.

Anastacio Domingcil

Anastacio “Tash” Domingcil, 71, of Hilo, died April 21, 2018, at home. Born on April 29, 1946, in Papaikou, he was a cook for Hawaii Naniloa Resort, KTA Superstores Deli department, and a bowler for several leagues.

Celebration of Life will be held from 4-8 p.m. May 19 at Sangha Hall 398 Kilauea Ave. in Hilo.

He is survived by wife, Amy Jean Domingcil of Hilo; sons, Elton Domingcil of Las Vegas, and Waylen Domingcil of Hilo; sisters, Norma Jean Castaneda of Papaikou, Annabelle Soares of Hilo, and Deanna (Cesar) Abitong of Keaau; Mother-in law, Rebecca Tomas; numerous aunts, uncles, sister-in laws, brother-in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gail Inoue

Gail Emiko Onuma Inoue, 66, of Hilo, died May 5, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a retired department assistant for the Hawaii State Department of Human Services Med-Quest Division and member of Hawaii Government Employees Association and Niigata Kenjinkai.

Friends may call at 4 p.m. May 17 at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo for a 5 p.m. service. Family requests casual attire.

She is survived by sons, Branden Inoue of Honolulu, Gavin Inoue of Hilo; brothers, Tom Onuma of Missouri, Masayoshi (Jane) Onuma of Hilo; sisters, Chiyoko (Leslie) Takenaka of Honolulu, Edith (Rodney) Nishino of Hilo, Patsy (Terrance) Nakamura of Kaneohe, Oahu; numerous nieces and nephews.
