The Hawaii Community Federal Credit Union is partnering with HOPE Services to provide assistance and support in efforts to help those affected by the Kilauea volcano eruption.
HOPE Services have been working together with leaders from Hawaii County, the Hawaii Community Foundation, and others and have provided us updates on what items are needed the most:
* Food
* Water
* Monetary donations
* Gas gift card donations
* Keiki items (to support keiki at the shelters and sleeping in cars and tents in the parking lot at the community center)
* Backpacks
* Notebooks
* Crayons
* Blankets
* Games
* Coloring & story books
* Other youth activity items
All branches will be collection sites for donations from staff and the community until May 31.
