KAILUA-KONA — As of Wednesday morning, Highway 270 is now open in both directions.
On Tuesday, landslides and a downed tree closed the roadway in three different places east of Kapaau.
A landslide blocked Highway 270 near mile markers 26 and 27, east of Halaula. That closure was located before the popular Pololu Valley and Lookout at the terminus of Highway 270, near mile marker 28.
