The public is invited to attend the monthly gathering this Thursday in NHERC’s large conference room in Honokaa beginning at 6 p.m.
At 6:45 p.m. guest speaker Wade Bauer will give a presentation on permaculture home orchard and site design. He’ll demonstrate how to design a diverse, productive and low maintenance home orchard, laying out all the elements for an on or off-grid homestead.
Bauer has taught permaculture in Hawaii for more than 10 years, with a degree in environmental biology and is the founder of Malama Aina Permaculture: Edible Landscape Design, Education & Nursery” in Kapoho.
