KAILUA-KONA — A toilet has gone missing from a residence in Ocean View.
The burglary at a home in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates off Marlin Boulevard occurred sometime between March 29 and Saturday, according to the Hawaii Police Department on Monday.
The initial report was taken on Saturday.
Hawaii Police Maj. Robert Wagner said someone went into the unlocked residence and removed a toilet valued at $124.
The house was under renovation and the toilet was renovation material, Wagner stated.
It is unknown how many bathrooms are in the home. Wagner said authorities have not found the toilet and nothing else was taken.
The incident is reported as a first-degree burglary, which is classified as a class B felony.
