Kipuka o ke Ola (KOKO) will begin its Ulu Laukahi Project Feb. 20, with Kaleo Correa (APRN Rx) as the lead health educator.
The project is a free year-long program for Native Hawaiians challenged by weight, blood sugar and/or blood pressure issues. It will include nutrition, exercise and overall well-being support.
The project was made possible by an HMSA Foundation grant to address Native Hawaiian health disparities.
To sign up, call KOKO at 885-5900.
