Furniture maker and woodturner Timothy Allan Shafto’s latest body of work will be showcased at a collector’s reception from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Tiffany’s Art Agency in Hawi. Open to the public, the deadline to RSVP is this Thursday.
Reflecting his love of the land and its endless horizons, he has created a series of mixed-media works that combines Hawaiian koa wood with “colorflow” abstract painting. They can be found in private collections across the globe, and at the U.S. Embassy in Fiji.
