Judith Bush
Judith C. (Arakaki) Bush, 76, of Pahoa, died Dec. 24, 2017, at her residence. Born in Honolulu, she was a former office manager for TheHandi-Van, retired from accounts receivable for Hilo Rice Mill, served as treasurer for Daughters of God Hula Ministry and a member of Puna Covenant Church.

She is survived by husband, David Bush Sr.; daughters, Judith (Kini) McShane Burke of Waiakea Uka, Cynthia (Roy) Costales of Waipahu, Oahu; son, Michael (Caroline) Rellez of Mountain View; sister, Valerie Kelley of Kona; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

John Aickin
John Richard Aickin, 72, of Ocean View, died Dec. 28, 2017. Born Sept. 4, 1945, in Manurewa, New Zealand, he was a contractor, business owner and worked on and competed in his race car.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his daughter, Malia (Jim) Band of Portland, Ore.; brothers, Peter Aickin of Kailua-Kona, and Robert Aickin of Townsville, Australia; two grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Herman Martines
Herman “Sabino” Martines, 50, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 26, 2017, in Hilo. He was born on Nov. 11, 1967.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Jan. 27 at Panaewa Community Center, 100 Ohuohu St., in Hilo.
He is survived by wife, Lori Martines of Kaumana; daughters, Natasha (Dustin) Bondallian of Pepeekeo, Sabrina (Brittney) Martines of Keaau, Sierra Martines of Kaumana; brothers, Patrick (Claylyn) Martines of Keaau, Jason (Tabitha) Martines of Kailua-Kona, Berenten Cachero of Hilo, Ashton Martines of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Roberta (Gary) Martines of Keaau, Marilyn (Daniel) Pakele of Hilo, Ashlyn (Jeremy) Martines of Kailua-Kona, Ashley Wendy Stephens of Kailua-Kona; four grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Melvin Fujihara
Melvin Toshio Fujihara, 71, of Holualoa, died Dec. 9, 2017, at Kona Community Hospital. Born March 15, 1946, in Hilo, he was a truck driver for Glover Construction Co., Shield Pacific, Loves Bakery, Pint Size Inc., a delivery person for Mainland News and a U.S. Army veteran.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Jan. 27 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Kealakekua for a 10 a.m. Mass. Urn burial will be at Kalahiki Cemetery in Kealia. Casual attire and flowers are welcome.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Fujihara of Kent, Wash., and Malcolm (Elikapeka) Fujihara of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Melveena (Damien) Mills of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Phillip (Roselle) Fujihara, Howard Fujihara, and Harold Fujihara, all of Kailua-Kona, and Douglas Fujihara of Hilo; sisters, Gladys (Marium Cornelio) Fujihara of Keauhou, Lillian (Elson) Mori of Kailua-Kona, Arlene (Mike) Reilly and Lorraine (James) Motoyama of Kealakekua and Barbara Jean (Grant Shiraishi) Fujihara of Kailua-Kona; eight grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kristina Andrade, 33 of Aiea, Oahu died Jan. 1, 2018, in Lincoln County, Nev. Born in Pahala, she was an analyst for the State of Hawaii, Office of the Legislative Auditor.
