Lori Chung
Lori Leilani Chung, 56, of Hilo died Jan. 12, 2018, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Castro Valley, Calif.,she was a member of the Wainaku Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Jan. 19 at the Wainaku Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (445 Kulana St.). Casual attire.
She is survived by brother, Aaron (Elizabeth) Chung of San Leandro, Calif.; nieces, Valerie (Mike) Sazo of Tracy, Calif., Roxanna Chung of Hayward, Calif., Kimberly Sanchez of San Leandro, Calif.; and nephew, Roman Sanchez of Salida, Calif.

Eric Nayon Koch, 53, of Keaau, died Dec. 20, 2017, in Honolulu. Born Jan. 11, 1964, in Bayombong, Nueva Visaya, Philippines, he was a chief engineer for Navatek Ltd. and project manager for Lockheed Martin, and a U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve veteran

Koch of San Diego; adoptive parents, Harry (Flordeliza) Koch of Poway, Calif.; one grandson; one uncle; one mother-in-law; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; 10 nephews and four nieces.

Mary Cordero
Mary Cordero, 73 of Pepeekeo, died Dec. 23, 2017, in Pohai Malama Facility in Hilo. Born Nov. 14, 1944, in Kohala, she was a homemaker and member of the Honomu Good Shepherd Church in Honomu.
Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Jan. 24 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel for a 7 p.m. wake service. Friends may call again from 8-9:30 a.m. Jan. 25 at Honomu Good Shepherd Church for a 10 a.m. Mass. Casual attire and flowers are welcomed. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Francisco (Janet Ragasa) Cordero Jr. of Honolulu and Wayne Codero Sr. of California; daughters, Lisa (Romeo Eugenio) Cordero of Mountain View and Marilynn (Mark) Lowery of Pepeekeo; six grandchildren; brothers, Clemente Reyes Jr. of Hilo and Thomas Reyes of Ohio.

Takeo Katayama
Takeo Katayama, 107, of Hilo died Jan. 3, 2018. Born on Nov. 2, 1910, he was retired from Sonomura Contracting as a carpenter.
Private services held. The family requests no koden or monetarily donations.
