Loretta Nakano
Loretta Pascua Nakano, 71, of Hilo, died Jan. 4, 2018, in Honolulu. Born March 12, 1946, in Hilo, she was an educational assistant at Hilo High School.
Private services were held. No flowers or koden.
She is survived by husband, Rodney Nakano of Hilo; daughters, Kelly (Matt) Devlin of Portland, Ore., and Jamie (Ken) Shimozono of Honolulu; son, Ryan (Cody Takenaka) of Honolulu; sisters, Elena (Steve) Ongais of Hilo and Verna (Leslie) Watanabe of Honolulu; seven grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and an aunt.

Angelina Flores
Angelina (Quiral) Flores, 90, of Hilo, died Dec. 26, 2017. She was born on Oct. 23, 1927.
A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
She is survived by sons, Luis, Joseph, Frank and Vincent; daughters, Angeline Corpuz and Carolyn Chaves; brothers, Sonny Ventura and Edward Tarape; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous uncles, aunts, nephew, nieces and cousins.

Mark Allen
Mark Lon Allen, 58, of Kurtistown, died Dec. 10, 2017, at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Wichita, Kan., he was the co-owner of Hawaiian Tropical Flowers, former programmer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Subaru Telescope.
A celebration of his life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 12 at Moku Ola (Coconut Island) with a scattering of his ashes to follow.
He is survived by son, Joshua Allen of Houston, Texas; daughter, Rosalyn Allen of Kurtistown; sisters, Mishell (Kim) Schutt of Trenton, Mich., and Beth (Andrew) Quartapella of Charlotte, N.C.; one grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

Frances McClure
Frances “Fran” Rae McClure, 74, of Honaunau, died Jan. 4, 2017, at her residence. Born Nov. 4, 1943, in Seattle, she was a retired microbiologist for Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii at Kona Community Hospital, a coffee farmer and jewelry designer.
Private service held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Hospice of Kona, PO Box 4130, Kailua-Kona, HI 96745.
She is survived by husband, John McClure of Honaunau; stepsons, David (Vera) McClure and Scott (Beth) McClure all of California; numerous friends.

Tsukasa Kori
Tsukasa Kori, 96, of Hilo, died Dec. 31, 2017, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Hilo, he was a retired groundskeeper with the county Department of Parks and Recreation and member of the Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin.
Private family services held. No koden.
He is survived by daughters, Thelma (Arthur) Nekoba of Reno, Nev., and Janet (Clyde) Oshiro and Arlene (Roy) Shigehara, all of Hilo; sister, Kiyoko Horimoto of Papaikou; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Wayne Perry
Wayne Michael Perry, 53, of Kailua-Kona, died Nov. 3, 2017, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Nov. 23, 1963, in Newport Beach, Calif., he was a sales and marketing representative for Wyndham Resorts Worldwide, a surfer, photographer and business owner.
